Palm Sunday in Oaxaca

After my barbershop visit, we made our way to Santo Domingo Cathedral to see what was happening. We found dozens of people out the front of of the cathedral weaving palm fronds into various Catholic symbols for people to buy; and we took a look inside the gorgeous building before wandering around town, and finishing the day off with (seemingly) the rest of the townspeople of Oaxaca - in the streets looking at market stalls and sipping on roadside-bought drinks.

And now the Palm Sunday partying begins - it's dusk and the streets fill up with people
